OUR STORY

The Yew Tree is located in the beautiful village of Frieth in the parish of Hambleden, Buckinghamshire.

It lies on the top of ‘Frieth Hill’, which is part of the chalk escarpments of the Chiltern Hills.

Located 5.1 miles from the M40 J4, 4.5 miles from Marlow and 7.5 miles from Henley-on-Thames, Frieth is in an area of outstanding natural beauty and is well worth a visit.

The pub itself has plenty of onsite car parking and is a great place to start or even better finish a walk in the beautiful Hambledon Valley – we hope to see you soon.

We are delighted that since opening our doors in November 2017, the Yew Tree is, once again, becoming a social hub for the village and the surrounding community - and we're thrilled.

Our goal has always been to create a local hub where our guests are offered great food and drink in a relaxed atmosphere. Having said that we love it when we are 'discovered' by out of towners, locals from Marlow and Henley and beyond.

Our bar is dog friendly, if it is cold our fire will be lit and if it's warm, our lovely garden comes into its own.

We hope to see you at the Yew Tree very soon.
